Polaroidiary is more or less dead. But lately I've been thinking about a comeback...

Restart (with Kai)

August 6th, 2006

What better way to restart an old site than with a an old friend? Polaroidiary has been dead since January 2005, but now it’s time to start rolling again.

The new Polaroidiary has a slightly different set of rules. I’ll be making a new polaroid whenever I feel like it. Therefore the polaroids won’t be dated any more either. I’m still thinking about leaving comments out of the site. I’m happy to receive feedback at matt at polaroidiary dot com, but there are no on-site comments. The migration from MovableType to WordPress has broken a number of things. The polaroids are now bigger and better than ever! And polaroidiary has it’s own URL now too.

Kai’s a rocka. He was trying to look tough and agressive, but said himself that this looks more like I’m about to punch him in the nose. But no, that’s his fist, and we’re still good friends.

At the moment I’m living on the last 9 shots which have been in my camera since last year. This means two things: firstly, this and the next 8 polaroids will show the effects of aged film, namely they’re all shifted quite heavily into the green-blue end of the color spectrum (and this one’s “chipped” in the upper right corner). Secondly, after the 9 shots are gone, I’ll be attempting to convert my camera to accept 600 film, and have no idea how they’ll look after that.
