Harbour Lights

I’ve heard that Hamburg’s harbour is the 5th busiest in the world, with over one million freight containers moving through it every year. When I first moved here the harbour looked to me like an industrial nightmare, much to the disappointment of my girlfriend. I’m not sure what happened, but now I find the lights of the ships and cranes twinkling on the Elbe river at night an unquestionably beautiful sight.
