Save St. Pauli

St. Pauli, my neighbourhood, has a very strong identity: it’s the red light district, it’s full of immigrants and working class folks, plenty of bars, and an under dog football (soccer) team, complete with fanatical fans. This guy was sitting across from me on the train. He didn’t look so friendly, but I asked if I could make this photo. He shyly agreed and looked away from the camera until I was done.
